Peter B. Fox

Founder & Principal

Peter is the Founder & Principal of Fox Ventures, LLC. Prior to Fox Ventures, Peter served as a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns in the firm’s asset management and public finance departments. He also served as the Director of the Economic Development Agency for the State of Illinois.

Additionally, Peter was a minority owner of Jimmy John’s Franchise, Inc. before being acquired by Inspire Brands, the owner and operator of the I Hotel, located in the University of Illinois Research Park, and serves as an Advisor for Hyperspace Ventures. Peter was named Jimmy John’s 2010 Franchisee of the Year, as well as the 2022 University of Illinois Distinguished Service Award.

Peter earned his B.S. in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University
